Whoops, forgot about this bit. In 2005, The ARS celebrated Albertas 100th Birthday by Painting 2 AC4400CWs, 3 SD70Macs, & 5 SD40-2s into an all-Blue Paint Scheme with the Alberta Flag on one side, & the Alberta coat of arms on the other. Both sides say "Pride of Alberta" on them. as of May 23, 2011, None have been repainted. Also in 2005, The WCR did the Same Thing, 3 AC4400CWLs, 4 F-units, & 3 SD70Macs were painted into the Saskatchewan Green Grain Hopper scheme. The F-units have been repainted. Both Railroads ran special Excursions all year long. The ARS hosted 26 in total! The WCR also celebrated with each of its 7 steam locomotives running speedy excursions all around the two provinces. It was recently annonced that The WCR would be repainting three more SD70Macs into Heritage Units, Great Northern Big Sky Blue, CP Maroon & Grey (With permission), & Northern Pacific Yellow & Grey. They due for repainting in Early July, 2011.

My fictional railroad has actually been around since 1982. The history of it too long add to here but here is an overview of it got its present day name. The original name was Chessie Seaboard and Southern Atlantic Transportation. Well I liked it till one day I tried to fit all that on a SD-40-2. As you can all the letters didn't fit. So I shortened the name to Southern Atlantic Transportation (SAXT).
My road pretty much follows CSX and in my mind ( anyway ) CSX has trackage rights over my line. Hey when dreaming, dream big. The HO scale SAXT rosters every thing from DD35s to a SP Cab forward. We run both freight and passenger. We have hauled everything from aircraft wings to gas generators. The road colors are very simple. Locomotives are just Maroon with a set of either yellow or gold pin stripes down the side.
I don't have an in shot of SAXT road power as for some reason no one wants the commission of doing a repaint for me. Although I do have a trash car and a couple of box cars in game.

I did go back and fix a few things like the short hood blackout on top and the numbers for the number boards but i just couldn't bring myself to dirty them up yet. I know they'll look better and they actually have some dust on them now but maybe later I'll get some dirt on them......
